Sitting for most of the day leads to an earlier death
- The longer you sit the quicker you die. It makes plain sense really doesn’t it? We are just not built for sitting around. Sitting all day leads to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancers, muscle and bone problems, lower back pain and low energy levels. Your disease rates are far higher if you sit for breakfast, then sit on the way to work, then sit all day at work, then sit while you are on your way home and then sit and watch TV before going to bed.
- For every hour sitting walk for five minutes. At work take a walk around the office, go out of the building and around the building before going back inside for a glass of pure water and then returning to your seat. Your brain will be sharper and your creative mind will kick in. You may solve problems that have been bugging you for days. Walking downloads the brain computer and improves our thinking. If you walk for 5 minutes every hour then you will get a 40 minute walk in at work every day! And get paid for it! And do a better, slicker, faster more productive job for your employer!
